Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech Outpatient

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week with guaranteed 40 weekly hours
• No call requirements
• May be required to float to other areas based on competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Minimum two years clinical experience in respective department required
• Experience in trauma required
• Travel experience required
• Required licenses: American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT(R), AART(CT), State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography
• Required certifications: AHA BLS within 60 days upon hire
• Produce diagnostic CT scans and assist radiologists in diagnostic CT scan procedures
• Coordinate daily workflow and assist in throughput of ER, in-patients and outpatients
• Administer IV contrast materials under radiologist direction
• Perform CT procedures on patients of all ages from neonatal to geriatric
• Operate sophisticated CT imaging units and image storage systems
• Handle advanced imaging for trauma, stroke, and code aorta cases
• Maintain current CPR certification and complete mandatory in-services
• Facility has right to call off without penalty with 48 hours notice for low census
