Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in a 2-bed cardiac catheterization lab with 1:1 patient ratios
• Day shift position working alongside 4 technologists, 2 RNs, and 2 monitor techs
• On-call responsibilities include every other weekend and every other night during the week
• 30-minute response time required for callbacks
• Perform heart catheterizations, interventions, pacemaker procedures, AICD implantations, Watchman procedures, EP ablations, and peripheral venous/arterial procedures
• Work with specialized equipment including IABP, Impella, stents, balloons, IVUS, FFR, and ultrasound
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: ACLS
• Must have IABP and Impella experience
• Must have interventional cath peripheral/coronary experience
• EP experience preferred
• May float to IR, ICU (if competent), and pre/post PACU cath areas
• Navy scrub color required
