RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with every other weekend schedule
• First to float as needed based on hospital census
• 3-week orientation program: first week classroom, following 2 weeks unit-based
• Blend of charge nurse, clinical mentor, and manager responsibilities
• Provide on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care
• Round on patients and address service or safety concerns
• Serve as resource for clinical and interpersonal issues
• Take charge nurse assignments as needed based on census and staffing levels
• Support staff and promote positive work environment
• Must have recent charge RN experience from last assignment
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Manager interview required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS (AHA or APEX)
• Charting system: Cerner
• BSN not required
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments
