Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work night shifts with every other weekend requirement
• First to float when needed based on staffing requirements
• Must have charge nurse experience from last assignment - no first-time travelers accepted
• Manager interviews required for all candidates
• Participate in 3 weeks of orientation (1 week classroom, 2 weeks unit-based)
• Blend of charge nurse, clinical mentor, and management responsibilities
• Provide on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care
• Round on patients and address service or safety concerns
• Serve as resource for clinical and interpersonal issues
• Take charge nurse assignments based on census and staffing levels
• Support staff and promote positive work environment
• Work in acute care setting using Cerner charting system
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS - AHA or APEX
• BSN not required
• License submission required
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments
