Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work in CT Department within Radiology on basement level
• Patient ratio of 2 patients per technologist per hour
• Work with GE CT equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Perform routine scans and angio scans per physician orders in compliance with department guidelines
• Start IVs and administer contrast injections
• Complete weekly QA phantom scans on 2-64 slice General Electric CT scanners
• Perform measurements for contrast resolution, noise, and other technical data
• Weekend night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with call every 6th week
• Must work independently and be a hard worker and team player
• GE experience required - candidates without this experience will not be considered
• 5+ years CT experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT-CT certified and BLS
• Dress code requires dark grey, charcoal, or pewter scrubs
• No floating to other areas required

This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center featuring 506 beds and a well-established radiology department. The CT department employs 14 staff members across all shifts, with modern GE equipment and advanced imaging capabilities. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Meditech EMR systems to support efficient workflow and documentation processes.
