RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week assignment
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Call requirements: Any day scheduled, averaging around 5 or less per 8 weeks
• Float requirements as needed by facility
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Work with various equipment including DaVinci robotic systems
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Required dress code: Black scrubs, professional attire only
• 2 years Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience required (teaching hospital experience will be considered)
• Must have scrub and OR circulator experience
• Interventional vascular experience (at least 1 year) and competent in conscious sedation required
• Current RN license eligible for Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
• Required certification: BLS from AHA only
• Assist vascular surgeon in OR and hybrid imaging suite
• Work with team of nurses and surgical techs for endovascular and open cases
• Provide patient care for all age groups from outpatient to critical care inpatient
• Must be highly motivated self-starter
• Physical demands include standing and walking most of duty time, lifting and pushing patients
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
