RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU/CCU

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours weekly in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit
• Patient ratios of 2:1, sometimes 3:1
• Float in rotation with core staffing
• Work with advanced equipment including Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and Hemodynamic monitoring
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Perform central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• Must demonstrate critical thinking and self-motivation
• Dress code requires scrubs of any color, no denim, capris, or camo
• Unit secretary and medical technician support available, with tech staffing dependent on census
• Flexible scheduling options available
• Work in a teamwork environment with mix of experienced day and night shift staff
