Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (8-hour shifts also available depending on census and staffing)
• Every other weekend requirement with flexibility to fill gaps in weekend schedule
• Must be within 30 minutes of hospital for call coverage
• Work integrated into holiday schedule
• 16-bed ICU unit that can expand to 20 beds
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (PALS and CCRN preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Navy scrub color required
• Use Cerner EMR system and Phillips telemetry
• Float to telemetry unit with 4:1 ratios as needed
• Floor-specific orientation: 2 shifts in ICU, then independent on 3rd shift
• Care for adults and pediatric patients with conditions including medical-surgical, neuro, balloon pumps, craniotomies, ICP monitoring, CABG, trauma, psychiatric overdoses, pediatric DKA, TPA, hypothermia, ECMO, CRRT, TAVR, and EVAR procedures
• Work with Draeger ventilators (managed by respiratory therapy)
• 24-hour intensivist coverage (on-call at night)
• IV team available during day shifts
• 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy support
• BSN not required
• License verification required for submission
