RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 day shifts)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• Must have 2+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab circulating and documenting experience
• Scrubbing experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 3:1
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only)
• Must have VA or Compact nursing license
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Hospital-provided scrubs required per facility dress code policy
• Provide critical, fast-paced care for patients undergoing minimally invasive heart and vascular procedures
• Review patient medical history/allergies and provide patient education
• Administer conscious sedation medication and assist cardiologists during procedures
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage moderate to deep sedation
• Administer critical medications and continuously monitor hemodynamics
• Handle diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Perform peripheral vascular procedures, cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms
