Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

• Work alternating shift schedules: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM and 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call requirement: 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month with possible holiday coverage
• Work in 5 Interventional Radiology suites with a team of 2 IR Techs and 1 IR RN
• Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital IR Tech experience required
• ARRT RT (R) certification and BLS certification required
• Experience with neuro interventional procedures preferred (strokes, aneurysms, SAH)
• Expert knowledge of vascular interventional radiology procedures with minimal guidance preferred
• Work with 4 Siemens Bi-plane systems and 1 Siemens Single plane system
• Use Meditech EMR and GE Centricity PACS systems
• Perform procedures in a comprehensive stroke center and Level 1 trauma center setting
• Handle typical procedures including strokes, aneurysms, SAH, DVST, GIB, embos, gastronomy tubes, and nephrostomy
• Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced interventional lab environment
• Strong teamwork skills required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
