Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Tuesday through Thursday
• Must be able to work independently as the only staff member in the department between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM
• Cross-train and assist with general X-ray procedures in addition to CT duties
• Perform CT scans with and without contrast including head, spine, abdomen, pelvis, CTA PE, runoff, and extremities
• Conduct general X-ray procedures including chest, PICC line placement, tube placement, and trauma fracture extremities
• Average 2-6 CT scans per night and 1-4 X-rays per night depending on workload
• Must be able to start IVs when ED lines are inadequate with no RN support in department
• Required to work holidays that fall on scheduled shifts
• No call or standby requirements
• Must provide radiation badge (facility can assist if absolutely needed)
• Washington state license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT, CT certification
• Work with Toshiba 64 Slice CT Scanner, Carestream X-ray room, and brand new GE Portable X-ray equipment
• Use EPIC EMR system and McKesson PACS
• EPIC training required in Tacoma with one week on-site orientation
• Wear scrubs of your choosing
