Description
Opportunity:
RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, typically starting at 7:00 AM with flexibility for earlier or later scheduled cases
• Shift hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM with possible call requirements
• Handle 0 to 5-6 cases per day in cardiac catheterization lab setting
• Must circulate during procedures - scrubbing is not required
• Perform PCIs, peripherals, diagnostic catheterizations, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filter procedures
• Knowledge of balloon pumps and STEMI experience preferred
• Must have experience to help train new nurses
• Work with Cath Lab Techs who handle scrubbing responsibilities
• Use Cerner, Sensis, and Merge charting systems
• Work with GE equipment
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• BSN degree not required
• Valid nursing license required for submission
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• MyJourney modules will be assigned during orientation
• Currently one cath lab with plans to expand to two cath labs

The facility currently operates one cardiac cath lab with plans to expand to two labs, demonstrating commitment to cardiac care expansion. The organization utilizes modern technology and equipment while maintaining a collaborative environment where experienced staff help train new team members. All STEMI cases are transferred to a nearby facility in Turlock for specialized care.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
