Description
Opportunity:
RN - Cardiac Tele
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts with 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks
• Holiday coverage required based on unit coverage needs
• Patient ratios of 1:3 or 1:4
• Must have Level 1 trauma experience
• Care for post-operative cardiovascular surgery patients including CABG, MVR, STEMI, heart failure, and vascular repair cases
• Required to titrate drips including Heparin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone
• Must interpret common cardiac rhythms and work with GE telemetry equipment
• Pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance with 2 attempts allowed
• Complete pass/fail SIMS Lab on day 1 for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow nasal cannula
• Float to all other applicable areas as needed
• Self-scheduling allowed with balanced shift assignments
• 2-day unit orientation provided
• BLS certification required
• Must have own vehicle for travel
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs (not provided), natural hair color, no facial piercings
• Men must be clean-shaven for fit testing
• Chart using Cerner system
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
