Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• 13-week assignment starting February 24th
• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS (ACLS and NIHSS can be obtained during placement process if needed)
• 39-bed unit with 24 MS/telemetry beds
• Telemetry experience beneficial but not required - basic telemetry knowledge is a plus
• No acutely cardiac patients, mainly pacemakers, monitoring, and electrolyte management
• Charting system: Meditech (experience highly preferred)
• Medication system: McKesson
• May float to other Med Surg units within scope of practice
• Scrub color: Royal blue (not provided by facility)
• Hospital may call off 1 shift for every 4 weeks worked (rarely used)
• Weekend rotation required
• BSN not required
• Housing assistance needed - facility notes difficulty finding affordable housing in area
