Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM shifts with every other weekend required
• On-call requirements: 1 night per week from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend call: 2 weekend days (24 hours Saturday and Sunday) once per month
• Holiday call: Must schedule for 1 major and 1 minor holiday
• Call response time: 30 minutes maximum
• Must live/stay within 30 minute radius due to call requirements
• Minimum 3 years OR experience required in acute care setting (surgery center experience not sufficient)
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have experience in all common case types and robotics
• Work with 5 operating suites handling 8-30 cases per day
• Common procedures include orthopedic (knee/hip/shoulder replacements, scopes), urology, gynecology (hysterectomies, robotic procedures, oncology), neurosurgery (spine, brain tumors), vascular, general surgery, ENT, bariatrics, and ophthalmology
• Experience required with DaVinci robotic system
• Cerner Surginet EMR system experience required
• Scrubbing skills preferred but not required
• May be floated to downtown location approximately 6.5 miles away
• Scrubs provided by facility
• 2-day maximum orientation period
• Work environment includes ongoing construction with completion estimated in 2027

The facility features advanced surgical technology including DaVinci robotic systems and maintains high surgical volume with comprehensive specialty services. The organization utilizes Cerner electronic medical records and provides a collaborative environment with OR technicians and charge nurse support. The facility is currently undergoing expansion construction to enhance surgical capabilities and patient care services.
