Opportunity:

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Must work 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• Float throughout multiple units within a 60-mile radius zone including General Med-Surg-Telemetry, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
• No home base facility - assignments vary by schedule
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity
• Must have 2 years of Med-Surg-Telemetry experience required
• Prior neuro experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• May be required to titrate Heparin drips
• Care for adult to geriatric population with various diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, post-surgical patients, and general medicine
• May float to ICU for low acuity holds, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg-Telemetry units
• Any color scrubs permitted
• 1-2 days orientation with preceptor
• Rare call or standby requirements for low census
• May be placed in holiday rotation
• Use Epic EMR system
• All time off requests must be submitted prior to starting assignment
