Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work night shifts with every other weekend requirement
• First to float when census requires staffing adjustments
• 3 weeks of orientation provided (1 week classroom, 2 weeks unit orientation)
• Must have previous charge RN experience from most recent assignment
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Manager interviews required
• Blend of charge nurse, clinical mentor, and manager responsibilities
• Provide on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care
• Round on patients and address service or safety concerns
• Serve as resource for clinical and interpersonal issues
• Take charge nurse assignments as needed based on census and staffing levels
• Support staff and promote positive work environment
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS (AHA or APEX)
• BSN not required
• Charting system: Cerner
• Acute care setting
• Cancellation policy: Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for shorter assignments
