Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment starting February 24th
• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience beneficial but not required
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS
• ACLS and NIHSS can be obtained during placement process if needed
• BSN degree not required
• Work with 39-bed unit including 24 Med Surg/Telemetry beds
• Handle primarily pacemaker patients, monitoring, and potassium level management
• May float to other Med Surg units within scope of practice
• Use Meditech charting system (experience highly preferred) and McKesson medication system
• Wear royal blue scrubs (not provided by facility)
• Hospital may cancel 1 shift per 4 weeks worked (rarely used)
• Housing must be secured independently due to limited affordable options in area
