Opportunity:

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Float pool position covering multiple units including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Obs
• Must float within 60-mile radius zone covering multiple facilities with no home base facility
• Nurse to patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity
• Weekend requirement of 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• May be placed in holiday rotation
• Schedule created by leadership for 6-week periods with expectation to be flexible
• All time off requests must be submitted prior to starting assignment
• Rare call or standby requirement for low census situations
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• 1-2 days orientation with preceptor
• Must have 2 years of MS-Tele experience required
• Prior neuro experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• May titrate Heparin drips
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Care for adult to geriatric population with various diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, post-surgical patients
• Use EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
