Opportunity:

RN - CICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage as needed
• 16-bed Medical Surgical Cardiac ICU unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 with occasional 1:1 assignments
• 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
• Required to titrate drips including sedation, paralytics, pressors, antihypertensives, heparin, and insulin
• Work with equipment including Gaymar Hypothermia, Arrow Balloon Pump, Camino Neuro monitoring, CRRT, Impella, EVDs, and Lumbar drains
• Care for patients with sepsis, STEMI, COVID, stroke, neurosurgery, renal failure, respiratory failure, COPD, cancer, and DKA
• Floating requirements mainly to PCU but may float to all hospital areas based on abilities
• Required to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Navy blue scrubs required
• EPIC charting system used
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
• RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract)
