Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement
• Holiday coverage required
• 24-bed telemetry unit with 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) available with 12:1 ratio
• Care for patients with CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, chronic kidney disease, and medical/surgical telemetry conditions
• Must have excellent communication and time management skills
• Required to read telemetry strips (monitor techs assist with monitoring)
• Handle patients requiring CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen equipment
• Floating required to all medical/surgical units
• Navy blue scrubs required
• BLS certification required
• Department-specific orientation provided for medical/surgical telemetry unit
• Charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse educators available for support
• Bachelor's degree in nursing not required
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
