Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday rotation with core staff
• First to float to Telemetry and any ED ICU/Telemetry holds
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios in 32-bed ICU unit (licensed for 40 beds)
• Unit organized in pods of 8 beds each
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Charge nurse responsibilities available with no patient assignment
• Resource RN position may include patient assignment
• Required to read and interpret own telemetry strips (no monitor techs)
• Administer various drips including pressors, antiarrhythmics, and sedation
• Manage ventilated patients
• Care for high-acuity patients including neuro, cardiac, PCI, sepsis, ETOH, stroke, TBI with Camino ICP monitoring
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• CCRN certification preferred
• 3 years of experience preferred
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue for RNs
• No acrylic nails or gel polish allowed during assignment
• Floor-specific orientation includes ICU educator and preceptor training
• Participate in huddle report and bedside report
