Opportunity:
Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Self-scheduling system with 5 available shifts
• Weekend call required every other weekend from 3:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday
• Evening weekday call requirements based on facility needs from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 30-minute response time required for call situations
• Call team consists of one nurse and two technologists
• Float between catheterization lab, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology lab
• Handle 8-12 cases per day on average across 3 suites/labs
• Work with Cerner charting system and Xper equipment
• Scrubs provided by facility
• One week floor-specific orientation typically required
• Common procedures include cardiac catheterizations, STEMI cases, ICD/pacemaker procedures, carotid and peripheral interventions
• Interventional radiology cases include venous placements, port-a-cath, fistulas, and various tube placements
• Electrophysiology procedures include ablations and device implantations
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Fluoroscopy certification
• RCIS or ARRT certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Electrophysiology lab experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred

This acute care medical center operates as a Level 3 trauma facility providing comprehensive cardiovascular services. The facility features a modern catheterization laboratory with three suites offering full-service cardiac, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology procedures. The medical center maintains 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services, ensuring comprehensive patient care around the clock with on-call cardiologist coverage during evening and overnight hours.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
