Opportunity:
RN - PACU
Job Details:
• Work day shifts Monday through Thursday with variable hours from 5:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Shift lengths range from 4-10 hours with random days off per week
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2
• Must have 1 year of preop experience in outpatient or inpatient setting
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Care for patients undergoing hands, orthopedics (total joints), foot & ankle, hand, sports medicine, and pain procedures
• Assist with nerve blocks and spinal procedures (training provided)
• May be asked to float to PACU area or other locations including Nampa, Meridian, and Boise campuses
• Travelers are typically first to float when needed
• Work with Epic EMR system
• Any color scrubs allowed, no artificial nails permitted
• Long-sleeve shirts under scrub tops allowed but no jackets
• 2 days general orientation plus 1-3 days with preceptor
• No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
• Cancellation policy allows 4 shifts per 13 week assignment
• BSN degree not required

This surgery center is a newer healthcare facility that opened in April 2024, featuring 26 preop bays, 6 operating rooms, and 20 PACU bays. The facility specializes in outpatient surgical procedures including orthopedics, sports medicine, and pain management. The center maintains modern equipment and utilizes Epic EMR systems while providing comprehensive surgical services with a focus on efficient patient care and recovery.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
