Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week for 36 hours total
• 13-week assignment starting February 24th
• Minimum 2 years of medical surgical nursing experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS (ACLS and NIHSS can be obtained during placement process if needed)
• BSN degree not required
• Telemetry experience beneficial but not required as unit includes 24 MS/telemetry beds
• May float to other medical surgical units within scope of practice
• Hospital may call off 1 shift for every 4 weeks worked (rarely used)
• Meditech charting system experience highly preferred
• McKesson medication system utilized
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided by facility)
• Acute care setting with monitoring of pacemakers, potassium levels, and basic telemetry
• Unit has 39 beds total
