Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement
• First to float when needed
• Call required - rotate call 1x per week for inpatient and emergent cases
• Weekend call requirement 1 weekend per month from Friday evening through Monday AM
• Work in team of 2 techs per case (1 scrubs, 1 monitors hemodynamics)
• RN provides conscious sedation during procedures
• Sometimes 4th person (RN or tech) assists depending on case complexity
• Must have current cath lab experience required
• Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation procedures
• Experience with procedural processes and airway management required
• Knowledge of cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors) and balloon pumps
• Handle 10-22 cases per day on average across 5 suites
• Work with cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR and neuro intervention cases
• STEMI receiving facility experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy
• Use Cerner charting system
• No first time travelers accepted
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
