Description
Opportunity:
RN - Tele Neuro
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4 total weekend shifts required per 4 weeks
• Holiday coverage based on unit coverage needs
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio on 32-bed neuro telemetry unit
• Must have Level 1 Trauma experience required
• 2 years of nursing experience required with neuro experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
• Complete pass/fail SIMs Lab on day 1 for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Must be able to titrate drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
• Must be able to interpret EKGs with central monitoring
• Float to telemetry units and telemetry overflow in ICU as needed
• 2-day floor-specific orientation provided
• Work with Cerner EMR system using WOWs (workstations on wheels)
• Steel gray scrubs required
• Natural hair color required with no facial piercings
• Men must be clean-shaven for fit test
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• Care for patients with diagnoses including CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, encephalopathy, trached patients, and brain tumors

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
