Description
Opportunity:
RN - Cardiac Tele Stepdown
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 during days and 1:4-5 during nights
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (NIHSS preferred)
• Must have experience with pre/post cardiac procedures including stents, pacemakers, ICDs, CABG, and vascular procedures
• Care for patients with cardiac diagnoses including pre/post cardiac procedures, femoral and radial procedures, heart catheterization, cardioversions, cardiothoracic patients, post-thoracotomy patients directly from PACU, CABGs 24 hours out, stents, post PCIs, vascular procedures, NSTEMI, trachs with home ventilators, trachs with bipap and cpap, and chest tubes
• Titrate various drips including Cardizem, amiodarone, nitro, and integrelin (Dobutamine and Dopamine are non-titratable)
• Work with equipment including bipap, cpap, and home ventilators
• Monitor techs handle all monitoring, measuring, and documenting
• Weekend requirements: every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per month
• Holiday rotation required for 6 main holidays: New Year's, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Memorial Day, and Labor Day
• May float as part of permanent staff rotation
• No call or standby requirements
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2-3 shift unit orientation provided
• Use EPIC charting system
• Permanent address must be at least 25 miles from facility location

I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
