Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement with 2 weekends per 4-week schedule
• Holiday requirement for Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving (work 2 days and an eve or 2 eves and a day)
• Patient ratio of 1:5 on 49-bed telemetry unit
• First to float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts with 80% score prior to contract signing
• Must have experience reading basic telemetry strips and interpreting strips with required sign-off at least once per shift
• Experience with CVA, TIA, and total joint replacement preferred
• Cerner experience recommended as orientation is only one shift
• Care for patients with CHF, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, post-catheterization, and total joint replacement
• Work with BiPap, CPAP, and breathing treatment equipment
• Navy blue scrubs required
• BSN not required
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract (3 shifts if contract under 13 weeks)

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
