Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 8 or 12-hour shifts with times including 6:30 AM-3:00 PM, 6:30 AM-7:00 PM, or 6:30 PM-7:00 AM
• Self-scheduling available with cyclic schedule and department needs consideration
• Must have Level 1 trauma experience and demonstrate proficiency with 3's and 4's in all areas
• Experience required in all service lines including general surgery, laparoscopic, GYN, GU/Cysto, orthopedic, neurosurgery, plastics, eye, ENT, thoracic, and endoscopy procedures
• Work with all patient ages and acuities including pediatrics in emergency situations
• Operate with 12 surgical suites handling outpatient and inpatient cases
• Work with advanced equipment including DaVinci Robot x3, stealth, o-arm, and holmium lasers
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must pass open book exam with 90% score during orientation or face contract termination
• Weekend call requirements approximately every 5 weeks from Friday evening to Sunday evening
• Weeknight call requirement of 1-4 hours after shift weekly
• Holiday rotation between in-house and 2 call teams
• Green scrubs provided by hospital
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove results in contract termination
• Driver's license required for radius verification
• One week unit-specific orientation provided
• No floating outside of OR department
• Use EPIC charting system
• Manager and charge nurse coverage on each shift with OR techs available
