Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Friday-Sunday 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, transitioning to Monday-Thursday 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM (4/10 schedule)
• Mix of 10-hour and 12-hour shifts for both days and nights
• Perform all routine CT exams for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
• Conduct cardiac CT, biopsy/drain procedures, and cryo/microwave ablations
• Must be able to perform trauma CT scans
• Occasionally float to X-ray to perform ED/inpatient/outpatient X-ray procedures
• Work with 3 CT scanners performing 65-70 scans in a 24-hour period
• IV skills required for working with outpatient procedures
• Optional call with 45-minute response time
• Weekend requirement depends on shift assignment - may be every weekend or every other weekend
• Holiday work required if scheduled day falls on holiday
• Schedule posted at least 2 weeks in advance
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R), ARRT (CT)
• Washington state license required for submission
• Radiation badge required prior to starting assignment
• Use EPIC EMR system and SECTRA PACS
• Work with GE REV CT and GE REV HD equipment
• Any color professional scrubs acceptable
• First three days include department orientation
• Phone interview with unit manager required

This acute care medical center features a comprehensive radiology department with advanced CT imaging capabilities. The facility operates 24/7 with radiologists on-site around the clock and maintains three state-of-the-art CT scanners to serve inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients. The department performs a high volume of imaging studies including routine CT exams, cardiac CT, and specialized procedures such as biopsies and ablations.
