Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
• Required to work 2 Fridays per schedule
• Work into permanent staff holiday rotation
• Patient ratios of 1:6-7
• Must live within 50-mile radius of facility
• BLS certification required
• Navy blue scrubs required (jackets must also be navy blue)
• 1 shift orientation with preceptor
• Self-scheduling and blocked schedules allowed when unit needs are met
• May float to other Med Surg units only
• Use Cerner charting system
• Must be comfortable caring for both 'clean' and 'dirty' patients simultaneously
• Handle post-surgical, orthopedic, pneumonia, dialysis, palliative care, hospice, and end-of-life patients
• Manage patients on remote telemetry monitoring
• Administer heparin and comfort measure drips
• Work with BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow oxygen managed by respiratory therapy
• BSN not required
• Pennsylvania nursing license required with any professional license hits disclosed at submission
• Copy of unexpired driver's license required for submission
