Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend (Days Saturday/Sunday, Nights Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Holiday schedule: Every other holiday worked into permanent staff holiday rotation
• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 (1:6 if medical surgical acuity)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must submit unexpired copy of driver's license with application
• Navy blue scrubs required - jackets must also be navy blue if worn
• Electronic medical records: Currently transitioning from Cerner to EPIC
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Must be able to titrate drips: Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Heparin
• Work with ventilatory support: BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow oxygen
• May float to ICU as helping hands
• Floor-specific orientation includes 2 shifts with preceptor
• Treat patients with heavy cardiac conditions, dysrhythmias, CVAs, and patients downgraded from ICU
• Work on 28-bed private room stepdown unit
• BSN not required
• Cancellation policy: Client may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
