Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU/CCU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• Float pool position covering multiple units across three facilities: Boise, Meridian, and Nampa
• Float to units within specialty only, never to lower acuity areas
• Units include: ER, ICU, MedSurg, Tele, L&D/PP, and NICU
• May float mid-shift to different units and facilities as needed
• Assignment notification via app one hour before shift starts
• All facilities are approximately 20 minutes apart with safe parking available
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: ER 1:4, ICU 1:1-2, MedSurg 1:5, Tele 1:4, NICU 1:4
• Required to titrate drips in ICU, ER, Tele, MedSurg, and PICU
• Must read and interpret telemetry/monitors in ICU, ER, Tele, and PICU
• Three shifts of inpatient orientation plus meet and greet on day one
• EPIC charting system used throughout facilities
• Professional dress code with no specific scrub color requirements
• Must have 2 years experience in specialty and previous travel experience
• Highly prefer antepartum and mother baby experience for L&D assignments
• Required certifications: BLS (all units), ACLS (ER, ICU, Tele), NIHSS, TNCC
• BSN degree not required
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
• No call or standby requirements
• Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
