Opportunity:
CT Technologist - CT Tech
Job Details:
• Primarily work in CT department with requirement to cover X-ray during 3rd shift night rotations
• Must be flexible to fall into normal shift rotations
• Weekdays typically 8-hour shifts, weekends and evening/nights covered with 12, 14, and 16-hour shifts
• Weekend and holiday coverage possibly required depending on need
• Call or standby requirement possible as back-up with 30-minute response time
• Perform 50-60 scans per day on average
• Work with 2018 Siemens Edge CT scanners (128 slices) - 2 units total (one in-house, one mobile docked)
• Commonly perform CT brain, ABD/PEL, chest angio, spines, stroke protocols, trauma, extremities, and interventional studies
• Must perform venipuncture and start IVs
• Work exclusively in CT department - no floating to other areas
• Use EPIC charting system, Meditech Expanse HIS, and GE Centricity PACS
• 3-day department orientation with first day in HR
• Required certifications: BLS and WV license
• Preferred: ARRT CT board certification with experience
• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license (100-mile radius rule applies)
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Maximum 2 shift cancellations per 13-week contract
Facility:
This acute care community hospital operates a very busy imaging department with comprehensive CT services. The facility employs 7 radiologists who work both on-site and remotely, with additional Nighthawk services for after-hours and weekend coverage. The imaging department features modern equipment and maintains high-volume patient care with advanced diagnostic capabilities including stroke protocols and trauma imaging services.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
