Opportunity:
RN - OR
Job Details:
• Work 10-hour shifts with varied start times including 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with some mid shifts starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM
• Call requirements include 1-2 weeknights per week and weekend call approximately once per month from end of shift Friday to 6:30 AM Monday
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule
• Maintain 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios in the operating room
• Work with 10 operating suites handling 25-45 cases per day, with 4 suites equipped for cardiac procedures
• Handle all types of surgical cases except transplant including general, vascular, thoracic, neuro, ENT, plastics, heavy orthopedic, and sports medicine procedures
• Must have strong experience with total joints, general surgery, vascular procedures, and spine surgery
• Work with Cerner Surginet EMR system and Phillips telemetry equipment
• One shift orientation with preceptor provided
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and COVID vaccination
• Work alongside OR techs and report to Clinical Supervisor
• Access to 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
