Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour night shifts Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Some 12-hour weekend shifts may be required
• 24/7 coverage with days shift having 2 techs, nights typically one staff member
• Must have ARRT registry for both CT and X-ray modalities
• BLS certification required
• Must be comfortable with both CT and X-ray experience
• Perform ER, inpatient, and outpatient exams including portables
• Handle stroke certified and trauma cases
• Average 5-10 CT scans, 10-15 X-ray studies per day
• Must start IVs for CT outpatients and perform Point of Care Creatinine testing
• Work with Philips X-ray and Portable equipment, Siemens CT and X-ray
• Use EPIC EMR and McKesson/Change Healthcare PACS systems
• Department has 1 CT scanner, 2 X-ray rooms, 1 portable X-ray, 1 ultrasound, 1 DEXA
• No scrub color requirement
• 1-3 days of department orientation with extension if needed
• No call requirements
• Four shift cancellation limit per 13-week assignment
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
