Rad Tech - Rad Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Wednesday evening through Saturday morning
• Cover ER and inpatient radiology services with no surgery or call responsibilities
• Must have OR experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT and BLS Certification
• Experience with portable exams required
• Perform 100-150 plain film studies per day and 10-15 OR cases
• Handle ED/trauma cases and OR/inpatient imaging
• May perform non-OR fluoroscopic exams based on experience and comfort level
• Float/cover ED and inpatient areas for x-ray services only
• Work with various equipment including Carestream fixed units and portables, Siemens fluoroscopy, and GE OEC c-arms
• Use BAR (Allscripts based system) and Scimage PICOM PACS systems
• Expected to precept radiology students
• Dress code requires light grey scrubs (not provided), surgical scrubs acceptable for OR coverage
• Orientation provided on scheduled shifts
• Block scheduling with some flexibility

Facility:

This acute care hospital operates as a Level 2 trauma center providing comprehensive radiology services across multiple departments. The facility features modern imaging equipment including fixed ED and department units, portable units, fluoroscopy, C-arms, and a hybrid OR vascular unit. The radiology department maintains a robust educational program with students rotating through regularly, and offers 24/7 imaging services with radiologist coverage Monday through Friday during business hours.
