Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Provide post-anesthesia care unit nursing services
• Coordinate, implement, and deliver care to patients across all age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
• Maintain standards of nursing practice as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics
• Demonstrate core and unit-specific competencies based on patient population served
• Participate in performance improvement and research activities
• Maintain professional practice standards and clinical expertise
• Demonstrate leadership skills in patient care coordination
• Use EPIC charting system for documentation
• New York State Registered Professional License and current registration required
• BS/BSN degree preferred but not required
• 2 years Med/Surg experience required
• Critical Care experience highly desirable
• BLS Certification required
• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions or exemptions
• Expect to pay for parking
• No call-off policy with 14 days written cancellation notice required
