Description
Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Must have minimum 2 years of ER experience in an Acute Care setting
• Highly preferred travel experience or 5+ years in a Level 1 Trauma facility
• Must have Meditech 6.15 experience - minimum 5 years experience preferred
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4
• Work every 3rd-4th weekend and every other holiday
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Must pass online Cardiac Rhythms test with minimum 80% score
• Must pass ESI Triage Exam during orientation
• Required scrub color: Caribbean Blue
• Must live 75+ miles from facility (driver's license address verification required)
• Nurses perform own lab draws and IV starts
• Work in 25 monitored beds, 6 fast treatment beds, 6 fast treatment chairs, 2 trauma bays
• Handle approximately 140 patient visits per day treating patients from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Care for trauma, stroke, orthopedic, and neurological patients
• 1-2 shift orientation depending on comfort level
• Work with dedicated RT, pharmacy support, and central monitoring tech

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
