Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts starting at 6:45 AM with bedside report
• Every other weekend requirement
• Rotate holidays with core staff - work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
• Float to MSNICU (Neuro experience preferred) and other Sacramento facilities
• First to float designation
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips
• Work with ventilators, telemetry monitoring, and various critical care equipment
• Care for pre and post-operative CABG patients, LVADs, Empallas, IABP, TAVRs patients
• Utilize CRRT (Next Stage) and manage critical drips and Swan monitoring
• Navy scrubs required - undershirts must be navy, white, or black
• 1-2 day floor-specific orientation with preceptor
• Self-scheduling system with manager approval
• Cannot have been directly employed by CommonSpirit facilities within past year
• Must complete DYS exam through Relias or UNA within 24-48 hours of acceptance
• Two supervisor references required at submission
• Use Cerner EMR system
