Description
Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts starting at 5:45 PM with report at bedside
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float to MSNICU and other Sacramento facilities as needed
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips
• Experience with ventilators required
• 1-2 day floor-specific orientation with preceptor
• Scrub color requirement: Navy scrubs with navy, white, or black undershirts
• Self-scheduling system available with manager balancing final schedules
• Overtime and extra shifts available
• Care for pre and post-op CABG patients, IABP, CRRT, critical drips, and Swan monitoring
• Two supervisory references required at submission (one within 12 months, one within 3 years)
• Must pass DYS exam through Relias or UNA within 24-48 hours of acceptance
• Cannot have been directly employed by CommonSpirit facilities within past year
• Use Cerner charting system

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
