Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: Day shift 6:45 AM - 6:45 PM or Night shift 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM
• Weekend requirements: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
• Holiday requirements: Work one summer and one winter holiday (receive one of each off)
• Self-scheduling available, though manager may adjust to balance schedule
• 2-day department-specific orientation required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (R), ARRT (CT)
• Must provide own radiation badge
• Perform both plain film imaging and CT scans
• Common studies include orthopedic portable images, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and CTA
• Average 10-15 scans/studies per day
• Equipment includes 1 CT scanner, 1 plain film unit, 1 portable unit (Siemens, Care Stream portable)
• Use Epic EMR and Synapse PACS systems
• IV start skills preferred
• Will train in POC lab and provide nursing support
• May float to other locations but unlikely
• Gray scrubs required (not provided)
• Teamwork skills essential
