Opportunity:

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour varied shifts with call responsibilities
• Overnight call once per week required
• Cover 3 weekend shifts per month (1 weekend call per month)
• First to float when needed
• Must scrub and have strong CVOR experience with confidence in skills
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Handle 4-6 surgeries per day in fast-paced environment
• Work in 4 operating suites specializing in heart surgeries including CABG, valves, and other cardiac procedures (no thoracic)
• Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips
• Work with Cerner EMR system
• Rotate holidays with core staff
• Scrubs provided by facility
• 1-2 days floor-specific orientation with preceptor
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• Two supervisor references required at submittal (charge nurse accepted): one within 12 months and one within 3 years
• Profile review and unit interview conducted prior to assignment
