Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (36 hours per week)
• 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Holiday rotation for evening or day shifts
• No call or standby requirements
• No floating requirements
• Stepdown experience required
• Patient ratios: Stepdown 1:3 and Floor 1:5-6
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• Must be able to titrate drips including Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone
• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen
• Care for patients with respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain
• Telemetry monitoring available with strips monitored at Ruby
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Unit-specific orientation provided
• Charting system: EPIC
• Must submit copy of unexpired driver's license
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• BSN not required

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a 20-bed Stepdown/Medical Surgical unit providing intermediate care for patients requiring closer monitoring than general medical floors but not intensive care. The facility offers comprehensive support with respiratory therapists, nursing assistants (2 per shift), and house supervisor coverage. The organization maintains modern equipment and technology including telemetry monitoring and respiratory support devices to ensure quality patient care in an acute care setting.
