Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled
• Weekend requirement of 3 shifts per 4-week schedule
• Holiday rotation for evening or day shifts
• Work in 20-bed stepdown/medical-surgical unit
• Patient ratios: Stepdown 1:3 and Floor 1:5-6
• Required to titrate drips including Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and amiodarone
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• Stepdown experience required
• Royal blue scrub color dress code
• Unit-specific orientation provided
• No call or standby requirements
• No floating requirements
• Common patient diagnoses include respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain
• Work with respiratory therapy equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
• Telemetry monitoring available with strips monitored at Ruby
• Two nurse aids per shift available for support
• EPIC charting system
• Must submit copy of unexpired driver's license with application
• Must comply with 50-mile radius rule
