Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Provide CT services for both inpatient and outpatient settings including urgent care
• Must have GE experience - this is a strict requirement
• Must be IV certified or IV competent as IV insertion is required
• Work with brand new GE dual energy scanner equipment including GE VCT and Evo/Evolution
• Must be able to work independently as you may occasionally be alone
• Perform occasional CTA scans (no coronal CTA)
• Calcium score capability on GE equipment is highly preferred
• Handle head CTs for falls and other routine procedures
• 3-5 years of CT experience required
• Massachusetts license and ARRT(CT) certification required
• Must be graduate of AMA approved educational program in Radiological Technology
• Required certifications: ARRT(CT), BLS Certification
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Follow hospital protocols for exam routines and produce quality studies efficiently
• Operate CT scanner QA, pressure injector, PACS units, and various imaging systems
• Adjust and manipulate images to required specifications including windowing and contrast
• Complete administrative duties including tech editing, patient escort, and room preparation
• Report wet reading findings to physicians and emergency department as needed
• Maintain stock rooms and keep work areas clean and functional
