Description
Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM or night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in 18-bed unit
• Must have minimum 1 year of experience with CVICU patient population
• Care for open heart, complex thoracic and vascular patients
• Support patients with advanced equipment including impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO
• Handle complex cases from cath lab, structural heart program, EP lab, ER, and clinic
• Required to titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmic drips
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
• Work with all respiratory equipment including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
• Float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement
• Navy blue scrub dress code required
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove results in contract termination
• Must pass 90% on open book skills exam during orientation or face termination
• 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system used
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities

The organization maintains 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist coverage, ensuring continuous specialized medical support for critically ill patients requiring advanced cardiac and vascular care.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
