Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement, possibly more if needed
• Work in 10-bed Intensive Care Unit on first floor
• Maintain 1:2 nurse to patient ratio
• Must have minimum 1 year ICU experience, first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Care for patients with heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, ventilated patients, GI bleeds, strokes, TPA, post codes, pneumonia, and post-surgical complications
• Required to titrate drips including Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, Vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, and Diltiazem
• Must be able to read cardiac strips independently as there are no telemetry technicians
• Float to telemetry unit maintaining 1:3 ratio or may take full assignment
• May float to Meridian and Boise ICU locations
• Work with ventilators, high flow oxygen, and BiPAP equipment
• Charting system: EPIC
• 1-2 shifts of orientation provided based on experience
• Any color scrubs acceptable as long as clean and professional
• No call or standby requirements
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
Facility:
This medical center operates a comprehensive intensive care unit providing critical care services to the community. The facility features a 10-bed ICU with specialized equipment including ventilators and advanced monitoring systems. The unit maintains 24/7 hospitalist coverage on-site and intensivist support via telehealth, with respiratory therapists available around the clock. The facility uses EPIC charting system and maintains high standards of patient care with dedicated charge nurses and administrative supervision available at all times.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
