Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech X-ray

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• 13-week assignment starting 4/6
• Multi-modality technologist performing both CT and X-ray procedures
• Work in hospital Emergency Department with 20-40 scans per shift
• No call requirements
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience required with Siemens X-ray and CT equipment
• Must have C-arm experience and CT perfusion studies experience
• Experience with Canon or Toshiba equipment preferred
• Meditech charting system experience required
• Level 1, 2 & 3 trauma experience preferred
• Dress code: black pants and pewter top scrubs (scrubs not provided)
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand, stoop, push and pull without restrictions
• Operate CT equipment, perform daily QC, position patients, administer contrast materials
• Apply radiation protection principles and ALARA practices
• Transport patients, maintain equipment cleanliness, and supervise new staff as needed
• Completion of Radiologic Technology program required
